JEAN, NV. (Pain In The Pass) >> An small airplane made a emergency landing on northbound Interstate 15 south of the Las Vegas Saturday afternoon, according to Nevada State Police.
A four-seater single-engine Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP aircraft with two occupants experienced engine failure before landing on the northbound lanes of the I-15 just after mile marker 13, just two miles south of Jean just before 3pm November 8, 2025.
An instructor pilot and student trainee were on board from All In Aviation in Henderson Nevada.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the landing.
The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified of the situation.
As of 5:30pm all lanes were reopened with over a 5-mile backup.
