MOUNTAIN PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person is dead and another person is seriously injured following a solo vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 15 near Stateline Friday afternoon.
On Friday November 21, 2025, at approximately 12:18pm, the California Highway Patrol received a report of a rollover crash involving a silver pickup truck on northbound I-15 about two miles before the Bailey Road exit.
Upon arrival, a preliminary investigation determined two people were inside a pickup truck, that was traveling northbound on I-15 in the Mountain Pass area near Bailey Rd.
For an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the truck and subsequently rolled over multiple times landed on the right-hand shoulder about 25 feet from the freeway.
Fire and Paramedics units from San Bernardino and Clark Counties responded and request two medical helicopters to land at the scene. Unfortunately, at least one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
One person was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown condition.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
