PINION HILLS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> At least one person was killed in a 3-vehicle crash that blocked Highway 138 for several hours Friday night.
The collision was reported shortly before 8:30pm on January 23, 2026, on Hwy 138 near Mountain Road, just in front of Chevron gas station.
Emergency crews arrived to find a total of three vehicles involved in the crash.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that one person was killed in the crash. Details about the total number of people involved and whether any other person was injured were not available.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
