SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 46-year-old man was identified following a deadly crash on the 210 Freeway Tuesday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash unfolded around 5:42am January 20, 2026, on eastbound 210 Freeway near the interchange of Interstate 215.
Officers said a driver, later identified as Dale Kirk Wintersteen, a 46-year-old resident of Orange County, was heading eastbound along 210 Freeway. Wintersteen was the driver of a red Hyundai Sonata sedan for unknown reason collided into the back of the semi-truck.
Unfortunately, Wintersteen was pronounced deceased at the scene.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
