PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian is killed after being hit by a car on Highway 138 Tuesday night.
According to California Highway Patrol Dispatch, a person was hit on Hwy 138 near Sheep Creek Road around 8:11pm February 10, 2026.
From the CHP traffic log stated the pedestrian was trying to cross the road when he was hit by a white Ford Fusion sedan.
The driver stayed at the scene and was cooperating with officers.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
