HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A bicyclist killed Friday morning after being hit by at least two vehicles on Highway 395, according to the Hesperia Police Department.
Hesperia Police said officers responded to the intersection of Hwy 395 and Joshua Street near the Hesperia Park & Ride and across from the Pilot Travel Center. The collision happened shortly before 6am on February 20, 2026.
When they arrived, they found a man lying in the road.
Officials pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The drivers did remain at the location and cooperated with the investigation.
The fatal crash occurred the same day officials had scheduled a groundbreaking event for Phase 2 of the Highway 395 Widening Project.
