YERMO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Firefighters responded to the offramp of Interstate 15 of a semi caught fire on Monday.
The fire began when the brakes of a semi-truck overheated at about 11:51am March 16, 2026 on the northbound I-15 Minneola Road offramp.
For reports the semi tractor rear brakes caught fire and spread throughout the trailer. The cab fully burned to the ground.
No injuries were reported.
The incident shut down the ramp for a few hours has the off load the trailer, cleanup, and tow the cab and trailer away.
