CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> California Highway Patrol are investigating a collision that temporarily shut down southbound Interstate 15 Wednesday morning.
The CHP says the accident happened around 10:08am March 18, 2026, on southbound I-15 freeway between the Oak Hill Road exit and the Truck Escape Ramp.
According to the CHP traffic log said, it appeared to be a single-vehicle crash.
Officials say the motorcycle rider suffered injuries from the crash and was taken to Dignity Health – Community Hospital of San Bernardino by ground ambulance.
All lanes have since reopened, and traffic is flowing again just after 10:30am.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
