DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A vehicle fire near the 15/215 freeway split sparked a small brush fire but quick response from firefighters kept the blaze from spreading and contained it less than of an acre.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the fire took place around 10:12am on Saturday April 18, 2026.
The vehicle reported to be on fire was a black box truck on the right shoulder of the 15 freeway just before the 15/215 freeway split.
Fire crews had the fire knocked down by 11am.
No injuries were reported.
No additional information about the fire has been released at this time.
