APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An 84-year-old man driving a 1935 Willys four-door classic sedan was killed in a solo-vehicle rollover crash along northbound Interstate 15 early Wednesday morning.
First responders were called to the area of northbound I-15 before Hodge Road exit around 6:25am, April 29, 2026, for a solo vehicle rollover crash off the right shoulder of the freeway.
The driver has been ID as Dale Perry of Palmdale.
“For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle veered to the right onto the dirt shoulder and subsequently collided with a dirt embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn,” the statement said.
Perry was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed from his injuries.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
