CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A man died in a solo vehicle crash early Saturday morning after colliding with a center divider wall at the 15/215 Interchange.
At about 12:36am, May 2, 2026, California Highway Patrol responded to a solo vehicle crash on southbound I-15 at the 15/215 Interchange according to the CHP Traffic Log.
Witnesses found a man alone in a black Range Rover SUV, which had run into the center divider wall at a unknown speed. The vehicle was reported to be smoking with the man trapped inside.
Though CHP officers and San Bernardino County Fire personnel provided medical treatment, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The man’s identity had not yet been confirmed.
