CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital Tuesday evening following a collision with a parked semi tractor-trailer on northbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass.
The crash happened around 5:49pm on May 5, 2026, on northbound I-15 about two miles before the Oak Hill Road exit.
California Highway Patrol traffic log stated, the motorcyclist was cutting in and out of lanes and speeding at high speeds prior to losing control of the bike and crashed into the back of the semi-trailer that was parked on the right shoulder of the freeway.
Several other drivers stopped to help the motorcycle rider. He was taken by San Bernardino County Fire to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The semi driver was not hurt in the collision and the semi was reported to be broke down on the shoulder of the freeway.
