MOUNTAIN PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was airlifted to a trauma center in critical condition after a sedan and a semi-truck crash Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 15 near Stateline.
California Highway Patrol and The San Bernardino County Fire Department said the crash happened on northbound I-15 around 11:06am on May 6, 2026, before Nipton Road.
The factor what lead up to the collision in under investigation. The two vehicles involved in the crash stated on the CHP traffic log was a gray Infiniti G37 sedan and a semi tractor-trailer.
It was reported the Infiniti landed about 150 feet off the right shoulder of the freeway down in the ditch.
Paramedics were able to get the driver out. The driver was taken by Mercy Air #7 Helicopter to a hospital in Las Vegas.
