SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi-trailer dolly became detached cause a multiple vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 15 Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at approximately 1:23am on June 2, 2026, southbound I-15 just before the Glen Helen Parkway exit
California Highway Patrol said, a semi-dolly became detached from a semi-trailer and was blocking lanes on the freeway. Two vehicles collided with the dolly and reported major damage to their vehicles.
The driver of the semi that lost the dolly did remain at the scene and cooperated with CHP.
Both drivers involved in the crash were reported to have minor injuries and declined medical transport to a local hospital.
Traffic was stopped to remove the dolly and the two vehicles from the freeway.
