LLANO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> At least one person killed in a collision Sunday afternoon on Highway 138, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 3:11pm June 14, 2026, on Hwy 138 near the area of 213th Street and Hwy 18, According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Log.
It’s reported that a driver of the gray sedan possible a Hyundai Elantra and a driver in a semi-truck were both traveling on the highway in different directions, “for an unknown reason,” one of the vehicles left the road, went through center line and collided into each other.
Los Angeles County Fire arrived to find the gray sedan with heavy damage with the front driver side completely pinned in the vehicle, prompting an immediate heavy rescue and extrication operation.
It looks like the damage on the semi was with the rear tires on the semi-trailer.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene. The semi driver was reported not hurt in the collision.
