LLANO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 26-year-old man has been identified as the driver killed in a crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 138.
On Sunday June 14, California Highway Patrol were called to a collision on Hwy 138 close to 213th Street and near Hwy 18, in the town of Llano around 3:11pm.
Adrian Pacheco, driver of the silver sedan possible a Kia Forte or a Hyundai Elantra and a driver in a semi-truck were both traveling on the highway in different directions, “for an unknown reason,” one of the vehicles left the road, went through center line and collided into each other.
Los Angeles County Fire arrived to find the silver sedan with heavy damage with the front driver side completely pinned in the vehicle, prompting an immediate heavy rescue and extrication operation.
It looks like the damage on the semi was with the rear tires on the semi-trailer.
Pacheco was pronounced deceased at the scene. The semi driver was reported not hurt in the collision.
