LLANO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person died in a serious crash on Highway 138 near 165th Street Saturday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 4:44am, June 20, 2026, on Hwy 138 East of 165th St in the town of Llano
At least three vehicles were involved in the head-on collision.
There was a large emergency response, including firetrucks, three tow truck and several CHP vehicles at the scene, which appeared to involve at least three vehicles – a pickup truck, a white Nissan Sentra sedan and a third vehicle with significant fire damage.
It was reported the driver of the sedan was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The identity of the deceased has not been released pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.
