SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The remnants of Tropical Storm Douglas look to bring a small chance of rain showers and possibly dry lightning to parts of Southern California this Saturday July 4th.
Southern California Weather Force says, any precipitation that does form will dry out before it hits the ground (virga) or light sprinkles.
Isolated thunderstorms are still possible MAINLY over the high desert and mountain areas.
The main risks are dry lightning and downburst winds, with nothing in terms of precipitation.
For fire weather considerations a lightning strike could ignite a wildfire.
Weather should move by this late afternoon into the evening.
