LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Authorities lifted all evacuation orders late Friday afternoon as firefighters halted the forward progress of the Allen Fire at 15 acres.
Multiple helicopters and airtankers made critical water drops to help ground crews from San Bernardino County Fire and CAL FIRE firefighters contain the fire, which broke out at 11:53am on July 10, 2026, near Allen Way and Sunset Road and grew to an estimated 15-acre footprint.
As flames spread, local authorities requested evacuations for residential neighborhoods along Allen Way and Sunset Road, according to Watch Duty, a nonprofit app that tracks wildfires. To keep the fire from advancing into the neighborhoods.
The fire burned one residence, outbuildings and several vehicles on the property where the fire started from. Firefighters said, the structure well involved and active ammunition was going off.
No injuries were reported.
Units committed for next several hours due to the gusty winds.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
