DEVORE, CA. ( Pain In The Pass) >> Firefighters responded to a brush fire that ignited alongside the railroad tracks adjacent to Glen Helen Road and the 15 freeway, Friday morning.
That fire igniting around 10:40am on July 17, 2026 with multiple engines on scene.
Firefighters started battling the Helen Fire at a slow rate of spread.
At 11:12am the forward progress was stopped and a hose lay around the fire.
They estimated the fire burned about 1 acre in size.
It was reported the fire were fully contained at approximately 1pm.
Authorities have yet to release a cause of that fire.
