HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two people were injured in a head-on collision in a curve on Highway 173 Tuesday morning.
The crash happened on July 21, 2026 at about 6:12am, on Hwy 173 just east of Cedar Springs Dam Road.
The two vehicles involving in the incident was reported a silver unknown sedan and a tan Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck, both with heavy front-end damage.
A witness stated the driver of the Avalanche was driving fast around that curve and collided with the sedan.
Two people were taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
