CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two separate incidents on southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass cause delays during the morning commute.
The California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire responded to both incidents on southbound I-15 lanes.
The first incident happened about 7:21am August 24, 2026, on south I-15 just after the Highway 138 onramp. The three vehicles involved was reported a white Honda Civic, blue Tesla sedan, and an unknown vehicle listed on the CHP traffic log which is caused traffic delays this morning.
Responding agencies did not release any information on how many people were injured in the crash or what condition they are in.
Second crash happened around 8:40am on southbound I-15 just after the Oak Hill Road exit. This incident involved a motorcycle and a vehicle that were blocking multiple lanes.
It looks like the motorcycle rider was lane splitting and a vehicle decides to change lanes cause the crash. Good news only minor injuries were reported.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
