MOUNTAIN PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol says there was an incident in the brake check area on northbound Interstate 15 Friday morning.
The traffic incident occurred on October 2, 2026, at approximately 10:45am on north I-15 freeway at the Mountain Pass Brake Check Area about 10 miles before Stateline Primm exit.
Details regarding the death incident or if there was a vehicle description was not immediately available at this time.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office was called to the scene.
