CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 2-vehicle crash left 1 vehicle overturned Thursday morning on southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass.
The California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department crews were dispatched around 8:18am October 8, 2026, for a reported rollover crash with a possible person trapped inside on southbound I-15 just after Kenwood Ave.
CHP and fire rescue arrived and found everyone had gotten out of the vehicles.
The vehicle that rolled over was a sliver Buick Envista SUV and the other vehicle was not listed in the CHP traffic log.
The two people were injured, and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Two right lanes were blocked for about 45 minutes due to the crash, but has since reopened.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
