Everybody Escapes Car Fire In The Cajon Pass Sunday Evening

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A blue car caught fire on northbound Interstate-15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass on Sunday evening. Creating a black and gray smoke cloud at the middle of the pass that you could see for miles.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino National Forest Firefighters were getting calls of a blue Toyota Corolla on fire about one mile after Highway 138 exit about 5:42pm on Sunday August 15, 2021. California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out. Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
