ADELANTO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was hit by a big rig and killed Saturday night on southbound Highway 395.
The incident was reported about 9:09pm. on January 29, 2022, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident happened on southbound on Hwy 395 near Colusa Road. When CHP officers arrived, they found the crash involving a big rig and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene in the right shoulder. Their identity hasn’t been released at this time.
The big rig driver that hit the pedestrian did stay at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, and there are no charges set to be placed at this time. This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Inland Office. The driver of the big rig was not injured.
