PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Nobody was injured when their Penske box truck crashed and rolled over on Sheep Cheek Road off of Highway 138 Wednesday morning.
The solo-vehicle crash involved a yellow Penske box truck. It was reported about 9:18am June 29, 2022. The crash happened off of Hwy 138 onto Sheep Creek Road. From CHP traffic log stated the driver made the down hill turn to quickly causing the box truck to overturn on its side.
The male driver was able to get out with only minor injuries. The Penske truck was reported to be fully loaded with watermelons.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
