Victim ID’d In Deadly Head-On Crash In Lucerne Valley On Hwy 247

LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Moises Soto, a 26-year-old resident of Anaheim, California, was identified as the crash victim by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

California Highway Patrol, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the head-on crash that happened around 11:22am Sunday, December 4, 2022 on Highway 247 near Granite Road, authorities said. The driver of a sliver vehicle and a driver of a red vehicle with one of them to have crossed the centerline of the roadway. Both vehicles were reported to be unrecognizable.

Moises Soto was pronounced deceased at the scene, CHP said. The other driver was transported by Mercy Air #24. The helicopter airlifted from the scene to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition with no new update on there condition.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
