VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A fire burned about ten acres of brush in the Mojave Riverbed on Friday afternoon.
The fire broke out at around 4:20pm on May 16, 2025, off of D Street and the Frontage Road in the Mojave River.
The fire forward progress was stopped at 6:15pm and the cause is under investigation, according to Victorville Fire Department.
This is like the third or fourth brush fire to break out in the Mojave Riverbed in the past month or two.
