CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi-truck crash Thursday morning left the driver injured and shut down lanes on Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass for more than 3 hours.
The incident occurred around 7am February 19, 2026, on northbound I-15 about half mile after the Kenwood Avenue exit
California Highway Patrol said, the red semi lost control, veered off the roadway, and overturned down an embankment.
From reports the driver sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to Community Hospital of San Bernardino and current condition has not been released.
The semi landed on the passenger side with the trailer was loaded with cargo. The combination of the overturned semi, removal, and cargo cleanup prompted multiple lane closure of I-15 for hours.
Traffic was backup for miles as they are finally removing the semi off the freeway.
