NEEDLES, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> Authorities has publicly identified a 75-year-old Temecula man who was killed when his car crashed off Highway 95 near Needles last week.
From an iPhone alert of a crash was reported at 1:46am on Wednesday February 18, 2026.
Lawrence Swain lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons while traveling on Hwy 95 near mile marker 25, north of Vidal Junction.
First responders-initiated life-saving measures on Swain, sadly he was deceased at the scene.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Needles Office.
