RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> Multiple divisions of the California Highway Patrol headed by the Rancho Cucamonga office coordinated “Commercial Strike Force Operation” along Interstate 15 on Thursday.
On Thursday, February 26, a “Multi-Division Commercial SEU/Strike Force Operation” was held along I-15 from San Deigo to Stateline Primm, Nevada.
In total, the operation resulted in 352 commercial violations citations and 56 warnings issued.

Enforcement Results:
• 245 total vehicle inspections (including 2 HAZMAT inspections)
• 18 drivers placed out of service
• 40 vehicles placed out of service
• 4 vehicles impounded
Driver & Carrier Violations:
• 20 driver license violations
• 24 registration violations
• 27 operating authority violations
• 39 hours-of-service/logbook violations
Citations Issued:
• 270 mechanical violations
• 23 non-emergency stop violations
• 77 out-of-lane violations
• 6 cell phone violations
• 107 unsafe speed violations
• 48 additional moving violations
• 43 citations issued to non-commercial vehicles
• 11 verbal warnings
Participating CHP Divisions include Barstow, Mountain Pass (JPOE), Oceanside, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Temecula, and Victorville Offices.
“The teamwork and commitment demonstrated by officers across both Divisions directly contributed to measurable enforcement results and improved roadway safety along one of California’s most heavily traveled freight corridors. Safety is a shared responsibility. The California Highway Patrol remains committed to proactive service through enforcement and education to keep California’s highways secure for everyone,” CHP said.
