CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person has been hospitalized after multiple collisions were reported on northbound Interstate 15 throughout early Sunday morning.
This came as a red disabled car was reported to be present in the middle of the northbound lanes Interstate 15 during the early morning. The first report about the series of crashes came into California Highway Patrol at approximately 12:59am on April 19, 2026, about a mile after the Highway 138 exit.
According to CHP, collision was reported with the disabled car and two other vehicles. The crash caused all lanes to stop for the cleanup and removal of the vehicles out of the lanes.
Three vehicles in total were involved, with one person transported to the hospital from the scene. There injuries were expected to be non-life-threatening.
CHP did not say what caused the car to stall on the freeway.
The northbound lanes of I-15 were closed throughout much of the early morning as first responders secured the scene. The three vehicles were said to be spread out across several lanes of the interstate as CHP arrived.
