LUDLOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The driver ID after been killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 40 late Monday morning.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased man as Voskanian, Vigen K., 36-year-old a resident of Montebello.
The collision was reported at 11:59am May 11, 2026, by the iPhone traffic collision alert on eastbound I-40 near the Ludlow exit in the center median area.
According to a written statement from the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office, the preliminary investigation determined Voskanian was driving a red Chevrolet pickup truck eastbound on I-40 when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle traveled to the right from the fast lane, crossed the slow lane, and entered the dirt shoulder.
Then the Chevrolet then traveled back across both eastbound lanes, entered the center median, and overturned before coming to rest within the eastbound fast lane.
San Bernardino County Fire personnel responded to the scene and Voskanian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
