ORO GRANDE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 61-year-old Victorville man killed after suffering major injuries in a two-vehicle rollover crash Thursday night on National Trails Highway.
The two vehicles crash was reported just after 7pm on July 30, 2026, on National Trails Highway near Oleander Street. The vehicles reported in the crash was a white Chevrolet Silverado Commercial Work Truck and an unknown vehicle.
According to the CHP traffic logs, the reporting party told the California Highway Patrol the stake bed work truck was being driven recklessly prior to the collision.
Frank R. Navarro, 61-year-old, of Victorville was driving the work truck made contact and sent the work truck off the roadway. The truck rolled over at least one time landed on its roof about 80 feet off the roadway.
The driver suffered major injuries, and first responders performed CPR at the scene before he was transported by ground ambulance to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Navarro was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The other driver wasn’t injured.
