HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi tractor-trailer hauling bales of hay overturned Friday morning on Summit Valley Road, spilling its cargo.
The crash was reported at 6:23am August 7, 2026, at Highway 138 Summit Valley Rd. intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It looks like the semi driver was traveling at an unconfirmed speed when the load shifted in the back set of doubles, that set of the trailer overturned dumping loads of alfalfa on the right shoulder.
No other vehicles were involved.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
