VICTORVILLE, CA. ( Pain In The Pass) >> On Friday August 7, 2026, the Victorville Station conducted a driving under the influence (DUI) saturation operation from approximately 4pm through 2am. The operation focused on identifying drivers suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and taking appropriate enforcement action.

During the operation, deputies conducted 39 traffic stops and administered 5 Field Sobriety Tests. The enforcement activity resulted in 1 DUI arrest and 1 drug possession arrest, which also resulted in a parole violation being issued. Deputies also issued 5 citations to unlicensed drivers, 15 speeding citations, and 22 citations for other traffic violations.
The Department encourages anyone who has consumed alcohol or used a substance that may impair their ability to drive to arrange for a sober driver or use an alternate form of transportation.
Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
