MOUNTAIN PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The authorities have released the identity of the driver who was killed after two vehicles collision on Interstate 15 Freeway in the Mountain Pass area near Stateline early last Thursday morning.
The San Bernardino County Coroner has identified the deceased driver as Jeremy Lawson, a 40-year-old resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lawson was pronounced deceased at the scene following a collision between his vehicle and a semi tractor-trailer on August 27, 2026, about 2:20am to the area northbound I-15 near mile marker 169 or about two miles before Bailey Road.
Authorities said, Lawson was ejected from his vehicle after swerved into a semi tractor-trailer.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
