CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcycle rider was injured after colliding with a vehicle on northbound Interstate 15 in Cajon Pass Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said at approximately 2:29pm September 4, 2026, police were called to a collision between a motorcycle and a SUV on northbound I-15 Freeway just after the Kenwood Avenue exit.
For unknown reason the rider crashed into the back of a blue Toyota Highlander
The motorcycle rider was found lying in the fast lane and was conscious and breathing holding his shoulder.
The motorcyclist sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by San Bernardino County Fire.
The motorcycle was damaged and towed from the scene, causing a traffic backup this holiday weekend.
