CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A man riding a motorcycle were seriously injured after a multiple-vehicle crash on Southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass Monday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Rescue said that at 1:03pm on September 7, 2026. Officers and firefighters responded to the multiple-vehicle crash on southbound I-15 Freeway before the Cleghorn Road exit.
Upon arrival, responders reported finding a crash involving four vehicles, including a white Jeep Grand Cherokee, blue Honda Civic sedan, sliver Toyota Carmy sedan and a motorcycle.
According to officials, the rider on the motorcycle were ejected after hitting the back of a Jeep, indicating serious injuries. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries by San Bernardino County Fire.
All other people involved in the crash reported no injuries and declined transportation to the hospital.
The caused a traffic backup on this Labor Day Monday afternoon. At one point traffic was backup over 8 miles, all the way to Main Street in Hesperia.
