CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Hesperia woman killed in a rollover collision that happened Sunday morning in the Cajon Pass, the California Highway Patrol reported.
San Bernardino County coroner’s officials have identified the victim as 35-year-old Jeorjina Espericueta, from Hesperia.
The incident transpired around 5:51am on October 10, 2026, on or near Cajon Boulevard old Route 66. The vehicle went down an embankment on wet roadway conditions and landed on Applewhite Road near Kennnbrook Rd. The vehicle reportedly went 200 feet off the roadway down a cliff.
Details about the cause and manner of the collision were not available, a person was able to call authorities reporting that the vehicle went off the roadway from the 15 Freeway near Cleghorn Road exit.
It was unclear if any other person was injured.
