VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was injured when their vehicle crashed from Interstate 15 into a fence and a light pole that landed onto Amargosa Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
California Highway Patrol, Victorville Police Department and Victorville Fire Department received calls of a crash. It was reported on southbound Interstate 15 just after Bear Valley Road exit. The crash happened at about 5:45pm Saturday on March 20, 2021.
The vehicle involved in the crash were a sliver Nissan Murano SUV. On arrival, firefighters located the Nissan with heavy front-end damage, blocking lanes on Amargosa Rd. The damage resulted from hitting the chain link fence, a street sign, and a light pole.
From what the CHP traffic log stated, one person was reported to be pregnant and was transported to a local hospital to be checked out.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
