CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An overturned big rig has caused substantial traffic delays Wednesday along southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash. It was reported on southbound Interstate 15 near the Kenwood Avenue exit. The crash happened at about 1:13pm Wednesday on March 24, 2021.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a big rig semi which landed on its side, blocking the #1. #2, #3, and #4 lanes. The semi was reported to be carrying pallets of cookies. The two other vehicles reported were a Toyota Prius and a Subaru with damage to there vehicle.
All drivers did decline medical aid at the scene.
Traffic was backed up as far as Ranchero Road in Hesperia. There are no other details released.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office.
