PRIMM, NV. (Pain In The Pass) >> Crews responded to a car that caught on fire on northbound Interstate 15 near Stateline Sunday morning.

Nevada State Police and the Clark County Fire Department said they received a call of a vehicle fire that happened on northbound Interstate 15 just after Primm Blvd exit. The incident happened around 11:23am on March 24, 2024, an unknown sedan was reported on fire on the left shoulder of the freeway.

Flames were coming from the engine compartment. Everybody did escape the vehicle before catching fire.

Fire crews said that as of 12pm, the fire had been put out and there were no injuries to report.

Traffic was backed up as crews had the fast lane and the middle lane blocked for about a half hour.
