Two southbound I-215 lanes and the both eastbound and westbound transition ramps to I-10 near the 215/10 Interchange were shut down due to a semi-truck fire.

It happened around 1:53pm on May 7, 2024.

California Highway Patrol said the lanes were shut down for hours due to the semi fire.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire according to the CHP Dispatch.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. San Bernardino County Fire Department is continuing to investigate.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Office.
