California Highway Patrol and Victorville City Fire Department were getting calls of a vehicle on fire in the center divider on southbound Interstate 15 just before the Bear Valley Road exit. The truck fire was reported just before 10am on Saturday June 29, 2024, with flames coming from the engine compartment.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene to work on getting the vehicle fire put out. They had to temporary shutdown the fast lane and the middle lane. The vehicle was reported to be a white Dodge Ram 2500.

Everyone did escape the truck before it became fully engulfed.

No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
