CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The San Bernardino County Fire Department quickly extinguished a pick up truck on fire Tuesday afternoon in the Cajon Pass.
Crew members quickly extinguished the white Dodge Ram pickup truck on fire about 3:52pm on July 8, 2025, the truck stop about a mile before the Cleghorn Road exit on the right shoulder. It looks like only fire damage to the engine compartment.
The slow lane was closed for about 30 minutes to fight the flames.
Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed in flames.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
