HESPERIA/VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) — California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County  Sheriff are investigating a man was found deceased along the shoulder of the northbound 15 freeway late Monday morning. (costhack.com)

CHP was getting calls just before 12 noon, on the shoulder northbound 15 freeway, just before the Bear Valley Road bridge.

From reports when CHP and Victorville Fire Department arrived on scene, they found the victim, a male adult, wearing tan shorts and a t-shirt lying in a pool of blood along the shoulder of the freeway.

Reports from the Pain in the Pass Facebook Group multiple people driving northbound 15 saw that look to be a person laying down on the shoulder on the freeway. They all called 911 to report it.

Around 12:15pm, authorities placed a yellow tarp over the
body and began taping off the area with crime scene tape.

CHP officers have not provided any information on if the
male was a pedestrian or if they are actively searching for any suspects.

Officers from the California Highway Patrol Victorville
station and officers from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department are currently
on scene and investigating the incident.

Update from the Sheriff’s Department officials have identified the man found dead along the northbound 15 freeway as Jose Perez-Arredondo, 25, a resident of Apple Valley.
