VICTORVILLE/ HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) – Caltrans will begin a safety project to install new metal beam guardrail systems in Victorville and Hesperia area on southbound Interstate 15 at various locations each day. Roadwork starts around Bear Valley Road down to before Ranchero Road 8pm to 4am each day.
Caltrans and California Highway Patrol will also be closing southbound Hwy 395 on ramp to southbound Interstate 15 on June 17th through June 22nd for road improvements. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to always reduce speed through work zones. The project will be completed by the end of July 2019, weather permitting.
CHP will be doing a traffic break before 8pm each day. Two lanes on the southbound 15 freeway will remain open at all times.
