CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A white Chevrolet Silverado became fully engulfed in flames in the Cajon Pass, you could see the orange glow for miles on Interstate 15 on Saturday night.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a white Chevy pickup on fire at 9:14pm Saturday July 25, 2010. On Interstate 15, about 2 miles before Oak Hill Road. The flames were close to nearby brush that was on the right shoulder of the freeway.

Firefighters did extinguish the pickup before the flame reached the brush.

The driver did escape the vehicle before it became engulfed in flames.

No injuries were reported at the scene.

The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
